I have had a wonderful weekend, relaxing and catching up on my card making!  Here is one I made a few months ago and decided to share on my blog.  I hope you like it!

HOPE

Material List: For this card I used Wisteria Wonder as my base color

Card base – 5 ½ x 8 ½ (1/2 of 8 ½ x 11 – then folded in half)

White cardstock – 4 x 5 ¼

Pattern paper to coordinate w/ card base – 4 x 3

Lace Border punch – cut out border then trim to 4”

            Same 3 of the “flower” looking pieces from the punched excess

Flower Stem – 1/8” x 3”

Mixed Bunch stamp set:

            Stamp and emboss 2 flowers – 1 white, 1 purple

            Stamp 3 center circles

Blossom Punch – punch out embossed flowers

¾” circle punch – punch out centers

Blossom Petals Builder – use top right to cut out 2 leaves

            Use a paper crimper to give the leaves some dimension

Ribbon to match base color

Brad – for center of 2 punched blossoms

Dimensional to attach blossoms and round pieces

Strength & Hope Stamp Set – H (Hope) is stamped in the upper right hand corner of card

Pearls and Rhinestones

Although the card base is light, I added a white sheet inside.

You're Too Kind - First post of 2013!

You're Too Kind

This is my first card for 2013.  I will post a picture of the card and the material list with a few notes on what I did to make this card.  If you have questions, please let me know. I hope you enjoy this one!

Material List:

Color 1 = Concord Crush          Color 2 = Blushing Bride          Color 3 = Pear Pizzazz

Card base – 5 ½ x 8 ½ (1/2 of 8 ½ x 11 – then folded in half):  Color 1

Color 2 – 4 x 5 ¼

White cardstock – 3 ¾ x 5: this will be stamped with the largest stamp

Color 3 – 1 ¼ x 5 ¼ strip – punch one long side with scallop edge border punch

Ribbon to match color 3 – this is placed over the scallop edge strip and knotted

Color 1 – 1 ½ x 4 strip (I used textured cardstock for this piece)

White cardstock – 1 ¼ x 3 ¾ strip – stamped with smallest stamp

Pearls – 1 extra large, 2 tiny

Rhinestones – 2 tiny

Dimensionals – mini pop dots for small flowers and whatever you like for the bottom border.

Itty Bitty Punch pack (Stampin’ Up) – I used the flower and cut three from color 2

Floral Fusin Sizzlits die – I cut these from color 2

NOTE: I used matching designer paper and alternated large and small of solid and medium flower of designer, then used the opposite (lg & sm designer, med solid) on another card.
